Veterinary Technician SamanthaFrom day one, Samantha had an unexplained bond to animals; she would always find the smallest of the world’s creatures hurt and immediately take them home to make them better. In 2001, she began working at an animal hospital in the kennel and has worked her way up to veterinary technician, receiving a Veterinary Technician License from Suffolk County Community College.

Ten years later, Samantha went into shelter medicine working in an isolation department, which changed her life. Dealing with endless emergencies and still being able to make homeless animals feel loved day in and day out was special to her. Caring for parvo puppies during the hardest fight of their life has made her life more whole than she thought it could be until she had her daughter.

Veterinary Receptionist ChastityChastity is a receptionist at the Animal Hospital of the Rockaways. She has two cats that she loves so much named Casper and Zoe. Chastity has loved animals all her life and when she was younger she wanted to be a vet. Whenever any of her pets got sick, she would always try to help make them better and play doctor.

During her previous job as a waitress, a very nice couple complimented her on her phenomenal service and by the end of their date offered her a position at their veterinarian hospital. Chastity was really excited and nervous, but she was eager to start this new chapter in her life. Chastity loves animals and learning new things all the time. Every day comes with new challenges, but with every challenge is a lesson learned.

Veterinary Receptionist NoelleNoelle has loved animals for as long as she can remember and has always wanted to be in a position to help them. She is a proud pet parent to a 3-year-old frisky little feline named Alice.

Becoming a part of the Animal Hospital of the Rockaways team has been a really great experience for Noelle; not only does she get to be around loads of animals every day, but she is also in an environment that provides countless opportunities to learn. It brings her joy to be able to assist the veterinarians and, in turn, the animals that come in to the hospital for their care.
